Riding Mountain National Park is a mix of boreal and deciduous forest, grassland meadows and marshy wetlands. Add in the rising elevation of the Manitoba Escarpment and you have a recipe for amazing outdoor experiences year-round thanks to hiking, biking, cross-country ski and snowshoe trails that crisscross through the park. Keep an eye out for wildlife - like moose, elk, bear, wolves and hundreds of species of birds. Pay a visit to the resident bison herd at Lake Audy.

On the shores of Clear Lake, Wasagaming is the park’s townsite, complete with shops, restaurants and a variety of accommodation options.
