Valery Anderson, a native of British Columbia, has lived in Manitoba for the past thirty years. In her highly versatile artistry, she expresses a love of all things Canadian. A realist by nature, Valery expresses faith in life through her depictions of this Wonderful World, as it appears to her.
More than fifty years of painting have gone into this artist's development. The works in this exhibition range from portraits, primarily children's paintings reflecting her concern for all children, be they rich or poor; to landscapes that illustrate the need to preserve our wonderful Canadian heritage. All of Valery Anderson's work reflects a hope for the future of humanity and a belief in the need for conservation, preservation and safe keeping of all life in this "Wonderful World."
