Prairie Berry Farm

Prairie Berry is a Strawberry Farm located 10 min south of Winnipeg. In 2020 Prairie Berry Farm decided to host Farm to Table Dining Experiences. Guests enjoy a 3-7 course meal served directly in the strawberry patch. The dinners are only held during the short 2-3 week picking season in the beginning of July so that guests can see the berries in the field as they eat a berry inspired meal. Each meal is prepared by local chefs who incorporate an element of strawberry in each dish. They use fresh ingredients to create a decadent menu for guests to enjoy. Guest choose the dinner based on the Chef, the meal, and the date. This season we have 4 different chefs joining us.

Enjoy a five-course meal featuring herb-crusted chicken breast with brie cheese, crispy rice cake, carrot puree, snap peas and strawberry gastrique.

Enjoy a four-course meal featuring Bannock crumb crusted bison cutlet with rose hip aioli, strawberry and cabbage slaw, nettle and garlic mashed potatoes.

Enjoy eight-course meal featuring berry braised beef short ribs, served with whipped beet puree, strawberry glaze & broccolini.

Enjoy a four-course meal featuring Spirit Bear coffee and maple braised brisket strawberry sumac relish, polenta seasonal vegetables and Bannock.

To reserve your tickets please email prairieberryfarm@gmail.com with the date and the number of guests. Tickets are $140 (includes tax and gratuity).

Doors and bar opens at 6:00pm, appetizers at 6:30 and diner served at 7pm.

Please note that these events happen rain or shine! There are gazebos set up in the field but in case of severe weather there is an indoor facility.
