King's Park

Bordering the Red River, King’s Park has many pathways (gravel and paved) to enjoy some of which lead to marshland. In the centre of the park you will find the beautiful Pagoda Gardens and the Carol Shield's Memorial Labyrinth, which honours the legacy of a Manitoba born Pulitzer Prize-winning author in an environment designed for meditation, healing and reflection. Features include a gathering area with interpretive signage, an engraved quote wall, a healing/meditation garden and paved pathways. Combined, they create a unique, accessible memorial that evokes the author's past while inspiring the walker's future.

The Park also has a soccer field, two baseball diamonds and an off-leash dog park area.
