Eskers

You'll find true wilderness adventure right outside your doorway. The landscape surrounding Lynn Lake was sculpted thousands of years ago by retreating glaciers that left S-shaped formations of gravel and sand called eskers. The northern lights in this part of the world can put on a show to leave you truly breathless. Ribbons of icy green, pink, yellow and red pulsate and shift in a mysterious, ever-changing rhythm. Location: 50 km/30 mi. northwest and accessible by road.
