The North Whiteshell Business Association is holding its first annual Ice Fishing Derby hosted on Fish Donkey. This partnership has allowed people in the derby to enter fish from any frozen lake in the North Whiteshell. (Any frozen lake from North Park entrance on hwy 307 to hwy 307 and 44, including hwy 309, Including George, Forbes and Echo) This derby has main prizes for: Grand Slam (top combined Northern Pike, Walleye, and Perch), Largest Northern Pike and Largest Walleye. There is 3 categories Mens, Womens, and Youth (under 16). There are also weekly pop up prizes that are announced on our social media channels throughout the event. We hope to share the wonders of the North Whiteshell with all those that are avid fishers, and those that are trying out for the first time.
