Adventure Awaits on Manitoba’s ATV Trails
Experience Manitoba off the beaten path on ATV trails that wind through forests, sand dunes, lakeshores and historic rail beds. Ride varied terrain, spot wildlife, uncover local history and stop in welcoming communities for fuel, food and a well-earned break along the way. This guide shares different ways to cruise the ATV trails in Manitoba to help you plan your next day trip or weekend adventure.

South Interlake ATV Club
The South Interlake ATV Club maintains the IPT Trail in the Interlake from Grosse Isle to Fisher Branch. The IPT Trail follows an old rail bed and was the first rail bed designated as an ATV trail in Manitoba. Riders experience scenery ranging from forest to farmland to swamps, along with railway history in the small towns along the route. Highlights include the snake dens at Narcisse, remnants of a rock quarry and surrounding natural areas to explore. Fuel for machines and riders is available in many communities.

Woodridge Sandhogs
On the western edge of the Sandilands Forest, Woodridge Sandhogs offers 70 km of trails to explore. The trail begins in the town of Woodridge, where gas, food and camping are available. Picnic areas along the route allow riders to stop and take a break in nature. Expect sandy stretches and heavily forested sections for a varied ride.
Eastman ATV Club
Belair ATV Club
Located in the Eastern Beaches region of Manitoba, the Belair ATV Club trails travel through the Belair Forest and include side loop trails for shorter rides. The route passes South Beach Casino, as well as Traverse Bay and Belair, where riders can stop for food and fuel. The Belair Forest offers scenic views, abundant wildlife and picnic areas.

Snow Lake ATV Club
In a region known for picturesque landscapes and diverse terrain, the Snow Lake ATV Club maintains a short trail system close to the town of Snow Lake. The trail offers a scenic ride around the lake, with forest and shoreline views. Food, fuel and accommodations are available for a weekend getaway.

Westman ATV Association
Westman ATV Association has developed three trails for riders to enjoy. The Strathcona Centennial Trail runs along an old rail line from Baldur to Ninette, travelling through agricultural land. In Belmont, the trail has been designated a historic site. Food and fuel are available in both communities. Camp Hughes, located in the Spruce Woods Provincial Forest west of Carberry, takes riders through stands of trees and open grassland. The area is a former First World War training site and one of the most intact sites of its kind in the world. Mossberry Trail, located in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, is a joint venture between Westman ATV, ATVMB and Manitoba Parks. The trail revives a former logging road created about 100 years ago. Plan a weekend of camping and time on the trails.
Interlake Offroad ATV Club
Interlake Offroad ATV Club
The Interlake Offroad ATV Club maintains a multi-use trail from Balmoral, following PTH 7 through Gunton, Teulon, Fraserwood and Silver. The well-groomed route makes travel between communities enjoyable. Riders can explore historic sites and stop at local restaurants serving home-cooked meals. Enjoy a day of adventure, history and good food.
Rock Road ATV Club
Rock Road ATV Club
South of Portage la Prairie, Rock Road ATV Club offers trails with a variety of terrain for ATVs and ORVs. Riders can explore sandy dunes and forested areas with scenic views. The area supports both family-friendly outings and more adventurous rides. After a day on the trails, head back to Portage la Prairie for food, fuel and lodging.
Eastman ATV Club
Eastman ATV Club
South of the Trans-Canada Highway, east of Richer, the Eastman ATV Club trails run through the heart of the Sandilands Forest. Riders will find forested sections, sandy stretches and routes suited to different skill levels. A lookout along the trail offers views from the former shoreline of Lake Agassiz dating back to the Ice Age. The route also follows part of the Dawson Trail, where remnants of a corduroy road remain visible. Fuel is available in Richer or near Hadashville and several campgrounds are located nearby.
North Interlake ATV Club
North Interlake ATV Club
The North Interlake ATV Club maintains 110 km of scenic trail starting at Eriksdale and running north to St. Martin Junction along an old rail line. The route connects small towns and features historic points of interest, including stone statues with interpretive stories. Picnic areas are located along the trail, and home-cooked meals are available in several communities.
