Do you like bugs? So did the Victorians! They loved studying them and even collecting and displaying them. In this activity you will get to go on a bug hunt in the gardens at Dalnavert. After a refreshing glass of lemonade, we will move into the Visitors’ Centre and make a craft inspired by the insect displays of the Victorian era. Please note that this craft will not include the use of real bugs! This activity will happen rain or shine; in case of rain we will have alternate indoor activities planned.

This activity is part of Screen-Free Sundays, running the first Sunday of the month through the summer. Ideal for children ages 6-12.
