Rock legends Mötley Crüe will “kickstart” Winnipeg’s summer at the second annual Rockin’ Thunder presented by Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Development Corp. at Princess Auto Stadium July 4. The Saturday night rock spectacle will also feature guests Three Days Grace, Halestorm and JJ Wilde.

With a rebellious signature blend of heavy metal, hard rock and over-the-top on-stage theatrics, Mötley Crüe remains a top global draw 45 years into their career. Synonymous with excess and spectacle, they have commandeered the rock pantheon garnering seven USA Platinum and Multi-Platinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, six Top 20 pop singles and three Grammy nominations, selling more than 100 million albums worldwide and amassing nearly 10 billion streams with arena anthems like Kickstart My Heart, Dr. Feelgood, Girls, Girls Girls, ballad Home Sweet Home and massive hits Shout at the Devil, Looks That Kill, and Wild Side.

Multi-Platinum Three Days Grace has dominated rock charts over the last two decades with 20 No. 1 singles including Animal I Have Become, I Hate Everything About You, Pain and Never Too Late. In 2024, the band welcomed back original lead singer Adam Gontier, now co-fronting with his successor Matt Walst. Single Mayday was the first teaser of what was to come, the debut of Matt and Adam, in November, while they finished up the album.
