Queers on the Quad: Celebrate, Connect, & Shop!

Join us for Queers on the Quad, a vibrant celebration of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies at the University of Manitoba! This inclusive afternoon event is dedicated to creating a welcoming space that highlights the creativity and diversity of our campus while providing a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Held during Suicide Prevention Month, the event also serves to raise awareness and amplify vital messages of support and resources for mental well-being. Open to all students and community members, Queers on the Quad is the perfect opportunity to connect and celebrate.

At the heart of the event is the UofM Student Vendor Marketplace, a bustling hub where talented students showcase and sell their art, crafts, services, and creations. You'll also find a curated selection of Winnipeg-based businesses offering goods and services, all chosen for their commitment to inclusivity. While you shop, grab delicious fare from a variety of local food trucks on-site and enjoy an afternoon of live music and captivating drag performances by UofM students and local Winnipeg artists, celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ artistic expression.

Throughout the afternoon, you can also visit information and resource booths to connect with campus organizations dedicated to supporting mental health and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
