The AURORA Summer Ecotourism Retreat is a beginner-friendly, immersive experience that offers a taste of life on the land—through guided adventure, hands-on learning, and heart-centered connection.

🌿 Guided Foraging & Plant Teachings
Learn to identify and respectfully harvest local boreal plants such as Labrador tea, spruce tips, and wild mint. Discover the deeper relationship between people and plant allies through Indigenous-informed teachings.
🚣♀️ Canoe Adventure to Swimming Rocks
Enjoy a short, guided paddle designed for all experience levels. This is not about distance—it’s about connection. Spend time swimming, relaxing on the rocks, and optionally trying your hand at fishing.
🔥 “Night on the Land” – Wilderness Camp Experience
Journey to an island setting where you’ll experience an overnight camp immersed in nature.

Friday — Arrive & Root Into the Land
Arrival (1:00–2:00 PM), opening circle, guided foraging walk, evening meal, and fire circle.
Saturday — Water, Adventure & Night on the Land
Short canoe trip, swimming rocks, fishing, shore lunch, followed by your island camp experience with outdoor cooking, crafting, and overnight stay.
Sunday — Integrate & Return
Wilderness yoga, light breakfast, closing circle, and departure by late morning.
