Pelican Lake, located in the Rural Municipality of Prairie Lakes, is surrounded by cabins and year round homes, numerous campgrounds, parks, beaches, golf course and small communities with rich histories.

The lake is home to a wide variety of water sports including fishing, boating, water skiing/tubing, sailing, swimming and hosts the annual Healthy Lakes Ice Fishing Derby and the Pelican Lake Yacht Club Regatta.
