Living Prairie Museum is a unique urban nature preserve that protects endangered tall grass prairie. The site has walking trails and an interpretive centre. Events and education programs are held year-round.

One of Winnipeg's natural wonders, the Living Prairie Museum is home to 35 acres of remnant tall grass prairie. Less than 1% of tall grass prairie remains in North America, making it one of the most endangered habitats in the world.

The Interpretive Centre is open:
- July and August - 10am-4pm Tuesday-Sunday
- September through June - 10am-4pm on Saturdays

The self-guided trails are always open to visitors.
Admission is free, with donations welcome. Special drop-in activities every weekend.

Free Guided Walks run in July and August, Fridays 11am, and Saturdays 11am and 1pm. No registration required.
