What is a Manitoba Social?

No one throws a party quite like Manitobans. A traditional Manitoba social is a community fundraising party with music, dancing and a midnight snack table that’s the stuff of legends. It’s where friends, neighbours and complete strangers come together just for the fun of it.

That same energy fuels the Grey Cup Festival. It's a celebration on a national scale with all the local flavour. Check out the Manitoba social festival guidebook page to learn more about our social culture.
