There’s no doubt about it: Manitoba and RVing go hand in hand.

With highways that stretch toward the horizon and a backyard full of forests, beaches, lakes and open prairie, there’s always a new view waiting just outside your window. These RV parks pack in more than just parking spots, offering numerous amenities, beautiful views and access to some of the best tourist spots in Manitoba. From sun-soaked beaches to shady forest hideaways, they bring personality and comfort to every corner of the province.

Here are seven RV parks in Manitoba you should check out on your next RV vacation.

Aspen Grove Campground

Oak Lake

Set in the heart of the Canadian Prairies between Oak Lake and Virden, family-run Aspen Grove Campground blends friendly charm with wide-open space, and sites come with 30- or 50-amp service and full hookups. Swim in the heated pool, play some mini-golf, serve up a round of beach volleyball or explore nearby sand dunes.

Additionally, there’s a covered Cook Shack for grilling, a snack-loaded camp store and a 24/7 laundry room with DVDs and board games for rainy days. Nearby, enjoy fishing or boating on Oak Lake, and you can also explore the trails at Eternal Springs or tee off at the Virden Wellview Golf Club. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re leashed and well-behaved, so this is a great spot for the entire family - Fido and all - to enjoy. Open May 1 until September 27, 2026.

Spruce Sands RV Resort

Arnes

On the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, Spruce Sands RV Resort has been hosting summer getaways for over 60 years. With more than 300 fully serviced sites, all with 30-amp electrical and water/sewer hookups, this family-friendly spot is a cozy base for beach days, bonfires and everything in between.

Spruce Sands RV Resort quickly starts to feel like a home away from home. While staying here, grab a tasty snack from the on-site café, wander down to the beach for a swim or kick back around the firepit under the starry sky. There’s also kayak rentals, horseshoe pits, basketball nets and a playground for kids, not to mention excellent Lake Winnipeg fishing.

In nearby Gimli, find restaurants, boardwalk strolls and a dose of Icelandic heritage, while many other beaches, including Winnipeg Beach and Matlock, are only a short drive away. Other things to do in the area include the Arnes Farmers’ Market and Camp Morton Provincial Park.

Arrowhead RV Park

Ile des Chênes

Ten minutes south of Winnipeg, Arrowhead RV Park gives you a nature-forward escape without losing touch with city comforts. This RV park boasts spacious pull-through sites that come with 30- or 50-amp hookups and high-speed internet, and you’ll also find clean, modern washrooms, showers and laundry facilities.

Rainy weather? No problem. The limestone roads keep things solid underfoot, while composting, reusable shower mats and eco-friendly practices are part of the experience. Ile des Chênes is only a short drive away for groceries and fuel, but you’re also close to numerous other tourist spots: A Maze in Corn, Tinkertown Family Fun Park and the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg. Open annually from April 15 to October 31, Arrowhead RV Park is fantastic for families wanting to explore more of Winnipeg.

Miller’s Camping Resort

Portage la Prairie

Miller’s Camping Resort is a fun-filled campground tucked among the trees near Portage la Prairie. Arcade games, basketball courts, beach volleyball and an outdoor pool keep things lively, and kids will love the variety of activities. Sites range from 15- to 50-amp service with full water and sewer hookups, while the convenience store carries snacks, ice cream, firewood and camping basics. Bring your bikes, pets and campfire chairs to really make it feel like home.

Only a ten-minute drive from Portage la Prairie, enjoy the city’s summer attractions, including Splash Island Water Park, Portage Golf Club and Fort La Reine Museum. One of the most recommended RV parks in Manitoba, Miller’s Camping Resort is the kind of place where kids make fast friends and everyone finds a bit of space to relax.

Rubber Ducky Resort and Campground

Warren

Less than 30 minutes from Winnipeg and 10 minutes from Stonewall, Rubber Ducky Resort and Campground offers a high-energy mix of comfort and fun. With over 200 sites, this campground brings big weekend energy to the prairie, and you’ve got plenty of options to keep kids busy. To name a few, there are two pools, mini-golf, a baseball diamond, arcade games, outdoor movies and a petting farm.

But that’s not all. Rent bumper boats, hop on the Ducky Express Train or join in a themed scavenger hunt, while the on-site RDR Grill and Ice Cream stand serves up tasty snacks and basics. Nearby, enjoy the Whispering Winds of Warren Golf and Country Club and the white sandy beach on Kinsmen Lake in Stonewall.

CherryHill Living

Steinbach

Cherry Hill Living is a peaceful, gated RV community just outside Steinbach. The park sits on 100 acres of forest surrounding a spring-fed lake. Swim, paddle or float your way through the day, then unwind under a canopy of trees on your private lot. Sites are fully serviced with water, sewer and 30-amp power, and the wide lots and quiet paths give this spot a relaxed, spacious feel.

Next door, Quarry Oaks Golf Course offers 27 holes and rolling fairways, while in Steinbach, you’ll find groceries, restaurants and a great aquatic centre if you’re craving a change of pace. History buffs will love the nearby Mennonite Heritage Village, too.

Green Valley RV and Cabins

Green Valley RV & Cabins is nestled in 100 acres of natural beauty, only 45 minutes south of Winnipeg. With both seasonal and nightly RV sites, each site is 50 feet wide and 70 feet long and offers 30- or 50-amp power. Other amenities include a manmade lake with a beach, a playground, a dog run area, brand-new pickleball courts and a timber-frame gazebo that’s ideal for watching the sunrise or sunset.

Nearby, you have plenty to keep you busy during a Manitoba summer. Grunthal is your closest stop for fuel and groceries, but Steinbach is only twenty minutes away if you’re after the Mennonite Heritage Village or the Steinbach Aquatic Centre. You’re only ten minutes from St. Malo Provincial Park with its fantastic beaches and hiking trails, and picturesque St-Pierre-Jolys is home to a fantastic local museum and the highly-rated Crow Wing Trail.

Ready to Roll?

From lakefront retreats near Steinbach to poolside weekends outside Portage la Prairie, Manitoba’s RV parks are made for those who travel with curiosity. Some invite you to unplug, others keep the fun rolling all day long. Either way, these spots prove that RVing in Manitoba is anything but ordinary.
