Section 6 Brewing

Section 6 Brewing is an owner-operated brewery in downtown Brandon, MB. We brew easy-drinking, approachable beer anyone can enjoy. The "Section 6" name is a nod to our agricultural roots, and represents the township-range grid system that divides land across the Prairies. Its also reflects the Section 6 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which speaks to the mobility and freedom to live and move throughout the country, reflecting the sense of openness and freedom that defines life on the Prairies. While we produce high quality craft beer, our true differentiator is the relationships we build with our customers, our staff other local businesses and organizations. We actively collaborate with neighboring businesses, artists, musicians and community groups, whether its shared events, shared space or supplying a locally made product they can be proud to serve. Rather than seeing our industry as competitive, we see it as a collective. Our success depends on people finding value in what we offer, whether that be a friendly downtown taproom, beer brewed in their hometown or a "third place" where connection happens naturally. When our customers feel pride in supporting something made for them by people they know, the product becomes more than just beer. Its part of their community experience and that sense of belonging and shared ownership is what truly sets us apart.
