Wildewood Golf

The Wildewood Golf course is a picturesque, semi-private 9 hole golf course carved out of the Fort Garry forest. Large mature trees border the course, lending it a great deal of beauty but also making every round a pleasant, yet demanding test. It has been described as the most deceptively difficult 9 holes in Winnipeg.

The course measures 6,048 yards, with a slope rating of 121 for men and 134 for women. Par is 72 for both men and women. The course was rated by Golf Manitoba in 2013, resulting in the addition of blue and forward tees.

With a combination of playing from the white tees for the front 9, playing from the red tees for the back, and playing different greens for holes 7/16, the course provides variety and challenge. Wildewood gives any golfer ample opportunity to shape their shots for maximum advantage. Challenging, well-manicured greens, 'dog-legs' and wide open par 4s test both your driving ability and accuracy.

With some time restrictions, the public is welcome to golf at Wildewood. Men's and Ladies' programs are held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons/evenings respectively, and there are competitive and social events held throughout the season. Wildewood is the perfect spot for your company's fun golf tournament, with nine holes of golf followed by dinner and drinks in the clubhouse.
