St. John's Cathedral (PHS)

St. John's Cathedral (PHS)Established in 1820 by John West, it was the birthplace of the Anglican Church in Western Canada, and is the "Upper" Church in a series of Anglican churches along the Red River. The present building is the fourth church built at this location. Many of the monuments commemorate the work of the early pioneers and later settlers of the Red River Valley and Manitoba.
