Natural Habitat Adventures

Natural Habitat Adventures has been leading trips in Churchill since 1989, from fall polar bear expeditions and stays at our Tundra Lodge to summer adventures with beluga whales, winter northern lights trips and specialized photography expeditions. Our long history in Churchill has built deep roots in the community, and those relationships are an important part of our presence here. We also make the logistics of reaching this remote destination easier: every trip includes round-trip chartered flights between Winnipeg and Churchill, and loaner Arctic gear is provided for our travelers. In fall, guests head onto the tundra aboard Nat Hab’s custom Polar Rovers to see polar bears along the shores of Hudson Bay. Select trips include a stay at our Tundra Lodge, a unique mobile lodge set directly in polar bear habitat. Dedicated photography expeditions offer a different way to experience and photograph Churchill’s wildlife and landscapes. Summer brings beluga whales and opportunities to explore the surrounding tundra, while winter brings dark skies and the northern lights. Across every departure, Nat Hab draws on more than 35 years in Churchill to connect travelers more closely with the wildlife, the place and the community.
