Museum in restored CNR station building declared as a heritage site. Mission is to promote, protect and preserve objects, specimens, records, sites & artifacts of significance to the natural/human history of Cranberry Portage & outlying areas. Read family histories.

THE MUSEUM WILL BE OPENING MAY 25TH,2024 UNTIL SEPTEMBER 12PM -6PM. (WHEN CLOSED YOU CAN CALL ANY DIRECTOR TO ARRANGE A LIMITED TOUR AS SOME DISPLAY AREAS ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE DURING WINTER MONTHS.)

NEW: Digital Tour of Museum for those with mobility issues. The displays are continually changing with new items added. There is something of interest for every age. Please come and check it out and bring your friends and relatives and tell visitors to the area to stop by. They will not be disappointed. A hidden gem situated close to the shores of Lake Athapapuskow, one of the most picturesque lakes in Northern Manitoba.

2024 Market Day on Museum Grounds May 25th, July 6th, Aug. 3rd & Sept. 7th. Everyone welcome. Have had up to 40+ Vendors, Food & Entertainment 11am - 3pm.
