Museum in restored CNR station building declared a heritage site. Mission is to promote, protect and preserve objects, specimens, records, sites & artifacts of significance to the natural/human history of Cranberry Portage & outlying areas.
THE MUSEUM IS RE-OPENING MAY 27, 2023 , TUESDAY-SATURDAY, 12 P.M.-6 P.M. FOR THE SEASON - AT OTHER TIMES CALL ANY DIRECTOR TO ARRANGE A TOUR.
NEW: Digital Tour of Museum for those with mobility issues. The displays are continually changing with new items added. There is something of interest for every age. Please come and check it out and bring your friends and relatives and tell visitors to the area to stop by. They will not be disappointed. A hidden gem situated close to the shores of Lake Athapapuskow, one of the most picturesque lakes in Northern Manitoba.
