Churchill Wild - Beluga Whale Tours

Each summer, thousands of beluga whales migrate into Hudson Bay and congregate near the Seal River and Churchill River estuaries to calve and feed.

The location of Seal River Heritage Lodge, just north of its namesake estuary, provides excellent opportunities for viewing these curious white whales, dubbed 'the canaries of the sea'.

Head out on a zodiac tour and keep your eyes peeled for pods of whales surfacing in front of the boat. Experience firsthand how they got their nickname when you listen to their chirps and squeaks through a hydrophone!

Visit Seal River Heritage Lodge in July or August to witness this incredible wildlife spectacle.
