Enjoy the taste of quiet country living in our charming Red River Stone Heritage Home built in 1862 by stone mason Samuel Taylor for Thomas Bunn, a member of Louis Riel's Council.
Located within minutes of Selkirk on the east side of the Red River we offer a self-contained, fully equipped three bedroom home which sleeps six.
Included are all the ingredients you will need to make yourself a hearty breakfast. We have large screened veranda and Bar-B-Que for your enjoyment
The grounds are spacious with lots of room to roam and explore. Walking trails, volleyball, horseshoes and many other fun activities. In winter snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing are common activities. We are located on the east shore of the Red River at the location of the "miracle mile"one of the best fisheries for Walleye and Catfish.
You can immerse yourself in the local history and on self guided historical tours and Heritage-Geocaching activities as well as observe the local wildlife.
Many other attractions are nearby including the Lower Fort Garry, Oak Hammock Marsh, Lake Winnipeg Beaches, Birds Hill Park, Manitoba Marine Museum and we are 45 minutes from Winnipeg.
