A visit to Manitoba means travelling through Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Territory and through communities who are signatories to Treaties 6 and 10. It encompasses the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Anish-Ininiwak, Dakota, Dene, Ininiwak and Nehethowuk and the homeland of the Métis. To learn more about Manitoba's Treaty areas, click here.
Nestled in the heart of Whiteshell Provincial Park is a getaway perfect for year round fun. In summer, pack up your things and head to the beach. In winter, light up the stove and break out the snowshoes. Falcon Beach Ranch boasts three cozy cabins, trail rides with its stable of horses, and plenty of wide open spaces.
Book your stay at one of three chalet-style cabins that feature a full kitchen and bathroom, two bedrooms (including a loft bedroom) and cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace (firewood is complimentary). A screened in deck is perfect for lounging in summer and the sundeck has a barbeque for grilling. Enjoy the cedar log sauna and outdoor hot tub year-round, along with an outdoor fire pit in the main ranch yard. Hot tip: cabins features high speed internet so extend your holiday and work remotely from the beauty of the wilderness (we won't tell your boss). Cabins accommodate four adults or two adults and up to four children. The kitchen includes pots and cooking utensils and towels and linens are provided.
The Ranch in Falcon Beach Ranch isn't just a name. If you've got horse lovers in tow, then you'll be dazzled by their complement of four-legged friends. The ranch offers year-round trail rides that take you through boreal forest alongside natural beaver ponds, granite ridges and sand slopes. There are options for every age and skill level. For adults and older children, opt for a one hour or forty minute group ride, or treat yourself to a private ride tailored exactly for you. Pony rides are perfect for smaller children and for the adventurous (or perhaps conspiracy minded) take a ride to the site of the “Falcon Lake Encounter,” one of North America’s most well-documented UFO sightings.
Beyond the amenities directly on the property, the ranch is located a short drive from Falcon Beach where you can soak up the sun in the summer. There are also numerous hiking, x-country skiing and snowshoe trails you can access nearby. The Falcon Creek Trail is located right outside the gates of the ranch and offers up a scenic 1.9 km loop.
