An evening of vibrant contrasts led by Ryusuke Numajiri. Québécoise pianist Élisabeth Pion performs Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2, moving from quiet, songful moments to showstopping passages. The program opens with Dai Fujikura’s Banitza Groove and closes with Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, “Rhenish,” a dynamic Romantic journey.
