The season concludes with a program that highlights both a remarkable guest artist and the collective voice of the orchestra, led by Daniel Raiskin. The spotlight shifts to a “Musicians’ Choice” work selected by WSO players, where each section steps forward in turn. Renowned horn player Radek Baborák performs Reinhold Glière’s Horn Concerto in B flat major, a characterful work with dance like energy and lyrical moments.
