This beautiful course was a town project from the outset, with people putting their time, money and labour into it's construction. With a new clubhouse in 2005, lush fairways and greens, and challenging links, Delahunt Golf and Country Club is something our community can be proud of. Large oak, poplar and spruce trees line many of it's fairways, making most of them tight and unforgiving. This is especially true on the course's most difficult hole, the 460 yard 8th. While not overly long for a par 5, a booming drive is needed to carry the water, or lay up and challenge the 90 degree dog-leg surrounded by trees, water and sand. Other holes worthy of mention are the 2nd and 9th holes, each measuring over 500 yards. Our golf course is a 9 hole course which plays as an 18 hole course with alternate tee areas on each hole.
