Pinawa Art 211 Inc is a non profit organization serving Pinawa and surrounding communities. It's purpose is to promote visual arts and artists through education, networking, marketing, developing emerging artists, organizing exhibits and other art events. The Pinawa Art Gallery is an initiative of Pinawa Art with over 20 members who display and sell their art work and volunteer to run all aspects of the operation. Numerous art events are held within the gallery including classes, drop-in groups, workshops, seasonal activities, family fun days, presentations, and experiential activities. The gallery also hosts and participates in numerous art shows, tours and festivals throughout the year. The gallery has a great assortment of original art for sale which include bark carving, photography, felting, paintings in oils, acrylics and watercolour, sculpting, drawing, jewelry, wearable art, cards pottery, painted glass, and mixed mediums. The gallery is a tourist information location in town and also has a lovely quiet coffee area for visiting with friends while enjoying the artwork.
