Spend a Saturday in Winnipeg’s West End with Saturdays on Sargent on July 11, 18 and 25. Free live music and neighbourhood programming keep the area busy with things to do throughout the afternoon!

The 2026 Winnipeg Folk Festival returns to Birds Hill Provincial Park from July 9 to 12, bringing together more than 70 artists across nine stages for four full days of music. This year’s lineup includes Of Monsters and Men, Father John Misty, Lucy Dacus, Stephen Wilson Jr., Sylvan Esso, Jesse Welles, Angine de Poitrine, Billy Bragg and many more! With two campgrounds and an unforgettable Festival atmosphere, it’s a summer weekend not to be missed.

Make your way to Carman for one of Manitoba's oldest running fairs, the Carman Country Fair. The weekend includes craft, flower and baking competitions, trade show venues, a country market, a midway and the Manitoba Percheron Show throughout all three days.

Kids’ activities include the petting zoo, Farmtastic theme areas and much more! The weekend also features dirt bike barrel racing, live music from Penny Sleeve and The Incredibly Hip, with fireworks to close out the fair.

Make plans to check out Buffalo Days in Buffalo Point from July 9 to 12 for a summer festival on the shores of Lake of the Woods. What started as a grassroots community event has grown into a well-loved annual celebration that draws locals, campers and visitors from across the region, all while supporting causes within the community.

The weekend includes family activities like bouncy castles, face painting and a petting zoo, along with beach events to name a few!

Pontoon boat rides, a golf tournament and the Marina Car Show & Shine. Live music, food from the bistro and fireworks over the water take the celebration well into the evening.
