Travel Manitoba and Tourism Winnipeg are proud to host Canada’s premier travel marketplace in 2025.

Travel Manitoba’s successful trip to Rendez-vous Canada (RVC) has planted seeds for 2025 when Canada’s premier travel marketplace will be hosted in Winnipeg.

Destination Canada’s signature event, co-produced with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), was held in Edmonton, Alberta from May 14 to 17. Travel Manitoba set up on the busy tradeshow floor along with Tourism Winnipeg, Churchill Wild, Lazy Bear Expeditions, Frontiers North Adventures, Gangler’s Sub-Arctic, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Assiniboine Park Conservancy, and the Royal Canadian Mint while Borealis Beading and Indigenous Tourism Manitoba were situated with the growing group of Indigenous tourism operators.

The team met with hundreds of international buyers and participated in over 500 appointments with Canada’s key markets, promoting all things Winnipeg and Manitoba.

Travel Manitoba’s sponsored luncheon event on May 17 engaged an audience of over 1,000 national and international guests in a game of Bingo featuring iconic images of Winnipeg and Manitoba, hosted by Manitoba ambassador and Virgin Radio personality Ace Burpee. Ten lucky Bingo winners went home with special gift bags featuring local Manitoba items.

A brand new video was unveiled at the luncheon showcasing powerful visuals of Manitoba’s most heart-stirring travel experiences. Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada also announced Winnipeg as the host city for RVC 2025, with Travel Manitoba, Tourism Winnipeg and Indigenous Tourism Manitoba present.
