How the pass works

Travel Manitoba’s Explore Churchill Pass is a free check-in challenge featuring 25 locations in the remote northern town of Churchill, Manitoba. Explore points-of-interest like the Itsanitaq museum, the Via Rail station, Cape Merry and more while earning your way to a digital explorer certificate!

Use the check-out box to download the free pass:

1. Click “Sign up Now”
2. Enter your name, mobile phone number and email address
3. Click “Complete”
4. Open the passport on your mobile phone using the email or text message (SMS) link
5. Follow the prompts to add the pass to your mobile phone’s home screen for easy access

Your pass requires a wifi or cellular data connection to check-in at each location and access audio clips. Each listing has been prepared by the Churchill Ladies Club to share more about the unique history behind each stop on the pass. Audio clips have been produced using local voices to tell a story for each location.
