7 Day Great Ice Bear (October & November)
Your journey of exploration and adventure takes place at our Polar Bear Lodge at Dymond Lake, approximately 30 kilometers from Churchill. Our lodge is strategically located amidst the natural habitat of many arctic creatures - polar bears, caribou, arctic and red fox, arctic hare, wolves and moose along with numerous bird species such as snowy owls, ptarmigan and gyrfalcons. Our wilderness lodge provides the most unique and interactive polar bear experience anywhere, including a chartered buggy in Churchill for even more viewing opportunities. One of the most captivating animals in the world is just outside your window and there is plenty of space to watch and photograph.

Arrive into Winnipeg and settle into our choice hotel - the Four Points by Sheraton. Orientation dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Arrive in Churchill and continue by chartered flight to our Dymond Lake Lodge. After lunch, depart on a wildlife safari, involving an interpretive slide show featuring the wildlife of Hudson Bay and a guided hike along the coastline. Return to lodge by 4:00 p.m. for drinks and appetizers. Dinner served at 7:00 p.m. Night time wildlife or northern lights viewing.
Day 3 to 4
Breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m., the first safari departs at 9:30 a.m. Guided walks at comfortable pace offer opportunity for learning and photography. Evening presentations on the nature and culture of the Arctic and its residents.
After breakfast, return flight to Churchill. Free time for shopping and touring the town.
Travel across the tundra in a tundra vehicle for more polar bear viewing. Evening flight to Winnipeg.
Parting breakfast at hotel before departure from Winnipeg.
