Calling all Manitoba canines…We’re starting our search for Manitoba’s 2024 Adventure Dog!

Does your dog have what it takes to be Manitoba’s 2024 Adventure Dog? It’s time to find out.

From September 1 until September 15, 2023, simply upload a video OR photo of your dog exploring Manitoba on Instagram and use the hashtag #MBAdventureDog2024. Don’t forget to tell us all about your dog’s favourite activities and spots to explore in Manitoba! Our canine ambassador will get an amazing prize package thanks to our sponsor Lakeview Hotels, as well as the opportunity to work with us to promote dog-friendly adventures throughout 2024.

Meet Manitoba's Official 2023 Adventure Dog: Nora!

Equal parts sweet and sassy, Nora is an excellent adventure sidekick with a great sense of direction.

Born in 2019, this pup has an impressive roster of adventures under her harness including a Manitoba landmark tour, hiking, swimming, camping, snowshoeing and kick sledding!

So far in 2023, we’ve sent Nora on a number of adventures including a day trip to Carman, an overnight at the dog-friendly Rose Beach House at Winnipeg Beach (which also has a great dog beach!) and an adventure north to locations like Little Limestone Lake, Paint Lake, and Wekusko Falls.
