This concert follows on the heels of Kerson Leong’s appearance with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Here, in the intimacy of the Muriel Richardson Auditorium, we will hear him play, up-close-and-personal, some of his most dazzling repertoire, from J.S. Bach to Piazzolla , not to mention Kreisler and Bartok!

Leong has performed in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, Wigmore Hall, the Auditorium du Louvre and the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Besides cementing his proficiency in reaching young people, aspiring musicians, and potential music lovers with his creative and engaging ways on social media, he has been keen on making connections between music and other fields. His dad’s tutelage in physics concepts about string resonance strongly influenced his playing and philosophy on sound production.
