About Close But No Guitar:

Close But No Guitar is a ukulele duo based out of Brandon MB. Jason and Shelby enjoy performing at various local establishments, playing a variety of genres with everything but a guitar!

About Robert Mackay:

Born and raised in Scotland, Rob Mackay emigrated to the Westman region when he was a teenager with his family in 1997. Rob has been passionate about music since he was a young lad growing up and Scotland, playing in musical groups and High School musical productions. Today he enjoys performing acoustic solo sets, intertwining covers of popular songs and original materials that he has written. Rob is also a member of the outlaw country rock trio, “The Aberdeen Turkeys”, who have been performing together for almost 10 years now. Fun fact, Rob donates all proceeds that he earns performing at events, pubs and restaurants to the Huntingtons Society of Canada, a charitable organization that supports those affected by Huntingtons Disease.
