Experience the creative process, the technical skill and the sheer artistry that underlies every series of Canadian stamps and bank notes from concept to final product. Reproductions of original art, printing plates, tools, rare stamps, and money—lots of money—are waiting for you in this fun, informative and enriching look into the beauty and intricacy of Canadian stamps and bank notes.

Aimed at youth, families and adults, this light version of our artifact-rich travelling exhibition still features hands-on interactives and is accompanied by the same school and general programming as its big sister. Re-produce the beautifully elaborate patterns of classic bank notes and browse through a millennium’s worth of engravers and engraving history.

On display in the Susan MacCharles Gallery at the Sam Waller Museum from April 3 to May 30, 2019. Funding to bring the traveling exhibit to our site is from the Museum Assistance Program through Canadian Heritage. Advertising costs are covered by The Pas Arts Council.
