Come to the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) and experience Manitoba's first major exhibition celebrating contemporary artists with roots in India. Vision Exchange: Perspectives from India to Canada features 20 leading contemporary artists from India and of Indo-Canadian heritage, with over 100 pieces, including a massive inflatable installation, film, multi-media, paintings, drawings, and much more. Artists address issues of shifting histories and borders; relationships to the land; as well as the complex themes of migration, immigration, and diaspora.Vision Exchange is organized by the Art Gallery of Alberta and the National Gallery of Canada.

To celebrate this eye-opening exhibition, the WAG invites you to an exciting range of thematic programs sharing community perspectives. From special tours to live events, pop-up parties, and family fun, there is something for everyone this summer at the WAG!

- On Friday, May 24, the WAG is hosting Bollywood Gharana for a live concert featuring a fusion of Bollywood hits and Indian classical music, held in the WAG's Muriel Richardson Auditorium.

- Reserve your spot for our signature FEAST dinner and tour event with three dates this summer, featuring dishes from some of your favourite local restaurants: East India Company, Charisma of India, and Clay Oven.

- Join us on the rooftop this summer for Cocktail & Indian Fusion Sampler Parties, catered by East India Company, and Charisma of India. You can also take part in yoga under the city skyline.

- Bring the family on July 21 for our Vision Exchange Family Sunday featuring a Rangoli workshop, scavenger hunts, family yoga, and a turban-tying demonstration by Khalsa Group Winnipeg.
