Allow yourself to be transported back in time to a Canadian Prisoner of War (POW) camp in the backcountry of Riding Mountain National Park (RMNP) located in south western Manitoba. Guided by Friends of Riding Mountain National Park staff and volunteers, along with RMNP interpreters you will ride in a horse-drawn wagon and experience a taste of what some young German soldiers who were captured on the battle lines in North Africa saw and felt when they were shipped to Canada’s rugged wilderness to await the end of the Second World War.
Advanced registration required as the tours alway sell out.
