The Aboriginal School of Dance is thrilled to announce an evening production of Niniimi’iwe on June 14th, a one-hour production based on the traditional teachings of the seven predominant dance categories known in Pow wow dance, all of which are captured in mesmerizing and impactful music and dance.
This event will promote the strength and resiliency of the First Peoples of North America and foster the growth of cultural pride, all the while successfully introducing the broader community to Indigenous peoples and their culture. Attendees will begin their experience by participating in a 45-minute cultural display facilitated by Indigenous traditional teachers and knowledge keepers before making their way in front of the stage for the performance segment. This makes for an hour and forty-five minutes of fun, interactive learning in an open and safe setting. This production is designed to offer an easy and fun way for your staff to engage in education around Indigenous culture as part of the act of reconciliation.
This world-class experience will include the best dancers and presenters from Manitoba and beyond at a very reasonable rate. Individual tickets will cost $17.00 whereas groups larger than 30 will be able to purchase tickets for $8.00 per person.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
