Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day at Oak Hammock Marsh, one of the best birding areas in Manitoba.

This year’s activities include a shorebird survey walk, song bird banding, presentation by Christian Artuso and a visit from the Parrot Club of Manitoba.

Song bird banding – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Experience a close-up look at song birds with resident naturalist Paula Grieef.
Parrot Club – 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM – See live parrots and meet their owners with the Parrot Club of Manitoba.
Shorebird Survey Walk – 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM – Join birding experts Christian Artuso and Tim Poole from Manitoba’s Important Bird Area Program for a two hour shorebird Survey Walk. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $6.00 person.,
