I have very fond childhood memories of summer vacations spent in Duck Mountain Provincial Park in Manitoba’s Parkland region. A cozy cabin, days spent splashing in the lake and evening walks through the forest. I didn’t know at the time what made “the Ducks” so special. But after returning many years later, this time with my own family, I truly got a sense of why this park lives on in so many of my old – and now new – memories.
