If you like the space of a restaurant to reflect its quality and sophisticated dishes, you need to plan a dinner at Osteria del Piolo. This new restaurant focuses on shared dishes and Italian favourites, with an open concept kitchen where you can see all the action.

3. Goose Flight Feasts

5. King's Deli Market & Eatery

725 Main Street, Winkler

Sandwiches ARE king at King's Deli Market & Eatery. With a lively and fun atmosphere, this Winkler restaurant offers a classic and tasty deli menu that includes corn beef, montreal smoked beef and genoa salami. A must-try if you're in the Pembina Valley area this fall.

8. The Wood Taven + Pauline

112 Marion Street, Winnipeg

The Norwood Hotel is getting a makeover! Not one but TWO concept restaurants are currently under construction, with an opening for late September (so soon). Pauline will evoke an old French bistro feel, providing exciting and elegant breakfast options, while the beloved Wood Tavern will be updated to reflect the building's rich history with accents of dark wood, raw stone and warm leather. Sounds cozy!

9. Lark

91 Albert Street, Winnipeg

From the creators of Chew eatery and adjacent The Store Next Door comes Lark, a brand new bakery and cafe in Winnipeg's historic Exchange District. Asides from the carefully crafted dishes you've come to know at Chew, you can also expect a selection of high-end grocery products available for purchase.

10. Gopher Creek Coffee Company

143 Nelson Street W, Virden

Every small town deserves a great coffee shop, and Gopher Creek Coffee Company has achieved just that for the town of Virden. Gopher Creek serves up a delicious daily menu (with everything from sandwiches to roast beef dinners) and runs small group cooking classes.
