Dinosaurs, burgers, and finding the golden ticket. Summer is finally here and that means festivals, delicious food, fun, and oh, did we mention the delicious food? Here are 10 fun and unique things to do this week in Manitoba!

1. Spend a Thursday in St. Boniface

On Thursdays this summer, Saint-Boniface is the place to be! The happenings: night market and Music Thursdays on the Esplanade Riel - Cinéma sous les étoiles (francophone movies under the stars) at the Cathedral - Shows at the Patio 340 - and much more, all over the neighbourhood!

2. See dinosaurs come to life

Ultimate Dinosaurs have arrived! Discover rarely-seen, full-scale skeletons of dinosaurs from South America and Africa. Interactive stations and augmented reality brings these prehistoric big, bold beasts... to life!

3. Excite your taste buds

Got beef? The Portage Regional Tourism Committee is hosting another Burger Days from June 6th through to June 12th. Come out and support local food businesses and vote for the best burger in Portage; more cheese, please!

4. Join an art studio tour

Spark your curiosity to learn more about the arts. Twenty-two local artists invite you to experience the WAVE Interlake Artists Studio Tour for a FREE, creative weekend adventure. Participate in Manitoba’s original art road trip, and experience paintings, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, glass art, sculpture and a Blacksmiths Forge.

5. Get ready to toe, heel, knee, kick!

Canada's National Ukrainian Festival makes its return debut this summer after a 2 year hiatus, and what better way to celebrate than with a kick-off party. Enjoy an in-person, entertaining sneak peak at this years offerings from singing and local Ukrainian dancing, to food and festive fun. Prizes, in-store boutique sales, and a BBQ! All located in front of the CNUF Boutique in Dauphin; don't forget the lawn chair!

8. Learn something about nothing
