10 things to do in Manitoba: June 20 to 26

One of the fun parts of summer is exploring new seasonal modes of transportation and adventure. Whether you're out hiking up a hill with two feet, exploring by paddle boat, peddling by bicycle, paddling by kayak, or taking the Winnipeg Trolley for the first time... you are out there exploring! Here are 10 things to do this week in Manitoba that encourage new methods of discovery.

1. Be treated like royalty

7. Learn how brains form biases

Visit a free, new exhibition at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. "Behind Racism: Challenging the way we think" explores how brains form biases that can lead to systemic racism. Through interactive games and exercises, explore what science can reveal about racist behaviour. Then learn how to counteract it.

Catch free concerts by local Winnipeg artists at various downtown Winnipeg locations all summer! Concerts run 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm on Tuesdays from June to September. In the event of bad weather, concerts will be held indoors at Cityplace.
