Winnipeg's Feast Cafe Bistro serves up modern dishes rooted in traditional Indigenous foods. It's more than a restaurant, it's about community, mother Earth and our connection to the food we eat. Owner Christa Bruneau has been championing community and Indigenous cuisine since opening the restaurant four years ago on Treaty 1 territory. Their Bannock Pizza and Tipi Tacos are a must try.

3. Go for Soft Serve and a Stroll

A little birdie told us that Sargent Sundae in Winnipeg is serving up pumpkin-flavoured soft ice cream and it's every bit of dreamy you'd hope it would be! Stop by for ice cream then head across the road for a beautiful, picturesque walk in Winnipeg's Assiniboine Park. Walk the outdoor trails and check out their gorgeous gardens.

Perhaps a surprise to many, did you know that you can go rock climbing right here in Manitoba, both inside AND outside? Try it out! For those feeling the call of the wild, head to Whiteshell Provincial Park and check out Lily Pond or Castle Rock for epic climbing views!
