Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba

With a lengthy history dating back to 1907, the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is now one of the most well known galleries in Manitoba and a quintessential piece of Brandon’s character and identity. Known simply as a ‘creative space for creative people,’ cre8ery has been an essential starting point for new and emerging artists, and since the gallery runs on rented spaces and galleries, visitors can always expect something new and unpredictable. Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art


Housed at 460 Portage Avenue, Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art was designed in a way that displays feature exhibits to passer-bys, making it one of the most well-known art galleries in Winnipeg. Dubbing itself a laboratory for research and art that challenges ideas and issues of present day society, Plug In is a hub for all things architecture, film, television, photography and new media. Urban Shaman


An Exchange District gem, Urban Shaman is an Aboriginal-run centre for artists and creative expression. Focusing on Indigenous art, the gallery presents contemporary pieces as not only artwork, but also as important tools for Aboriginal peoples. Gimli Art Club

The Gimli Art Club came into fruition back in the 60’s, and has since grown into one of the most noteworthy establishments of Gimli, Manitoba. Dedicated to encouraging the creation of artwork, the Gimli Art Club not only houses art but also offers activities and workshops. Gallery displays include stained glass designs, glass works, jewelry, batik and photography. The Club is behind the iconic, 977 foot Seawall structure along the Gimli harbour, which features over 60 colourful murals that depict the Interlake.

Gurevich Fine Art
