#ExploreMB with social media campaign

This summer, Travel Manitoba wants you to explore Manitoba. The social media campaign is aimed at harnessing the pride of locals - encouraging them to submit their Manitoba photos and stories to share with potential travellers. The goal is to increase Instagram users who follow the @TravelManitoba account and who are actively sharing using the #ExploreMB hashtag.

Throughout the summer, we are sharing user-generated photos that represent 100 Heart Beat Moments that are iconic to Manitoba. Photos tagged with #ExploreMB also appear on a new website, ExploreMB.com. As users tag their photos, the Heart Beat Moments are uncovered and displayed on the website's interactive map. If a user is one of the first to uncover a Heart Beat Moment, their photo could be chosen to be part of a special Canada's Heart...Beats coffee table book.

Albums showcasing the best of the #ExploreMB tagged photos are also being posted to Facebook, and Twitter is being used to drive traffic to the photo website and encourage the use of the #ExploreMB hashtag.

Include the #ExploreMB hashtag on your own photos as well promotional material to grow the online community sharing Manitoba photos and experiences.
