Urban Park

Who says you can't have it all?

Enjoy the best of both worlds with a camping experience in the city. Manitoba's urban campgrounds let you enjoy shopping, fine dining and historic attractions along with the great outdoors. Dauphin's Vermillion Park Campground is in the heart of the community, close to arts centres, museums and other attractions. Along with a 3.2-kilometre lighted walking trail, splash park and a stream that's home to ducks and other small wildlife, the campground is a shuttle stop for music fans attending Dauphin's Countryfest.

Minnedosa's campground on the shore of Lake Minnedosa has a soccer pitch and baseball diamonds close to restaurants and shopping. And the beach and recreation area of St. Malo Provincial Park's campground is just one kilometre from town.
In Winnipeg, the Traveller's RV Resort & Campground adjacent to Fun Mountain Waterslide Park is a short drive from downtown, near the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Perimeter Highway. Portage la Prairie's Portage Ex campground is in Island Park, near a golf course, waterpark and scenic walking trail that leads to the heart of the city. And some urban campgrounds are located adjacent to visitor information sites, where you plan the day's excursions from the comfort of your temporary home.
