Provincial Campground

Can't decide between a beach or biking vacation? Have both - and then some. With more than 50 provincial campgrounds across Manitoba, there's no limit on the outdoor experiences you can enjoy. Windsurf at Lake Winnipeg, kayak through a rocky cave or ride river rapids in the Whiteshell, go trophy-fishing at a remote northern lake or pedal your bike along pleasant paved roadways at Birds Hill Provincial Park.

You can explore museums and interpretive centres at Hecla/Grindstone, Whiteshell and Spruce Woods provincial parks. Self-guided hiking and nature trails are common features and all provincial campgrounds offer amenities such as fire pits, picnic tables and washroom facilities. In some cases, you don't even need a tent or RV to enjoy a camping experience. Rent a cabin at Hecla Island or Camp Morton on the western shore of Lake Winnipeg or check into a Mongolian yurt at provincial parks in the Interlake, Parkland, Whiteshell, western Manitoba and North regions.
