WRAPPED: The Mummy of Pesed

For the first time in 45 years a real Egyptian mummy will be on display in Winnipeg! The Manitoba Museum’s temporary exhibit, WRAPPED: The Mummy of Pesed, showcases Pesed, “The Shining One”, a mummy and her coffin, and includes over 60 ancient Egyptian antiquities, CT scans and forensic facial reconstructions of Egyptian mummies.

Snowmobile Drag Races

Come out and watch or compete in the Thompson Trailbreaker's annual snowmobile drag races at the Paint Lake Marina! The day includes a concesson on the ice, Live Ammo - the local group that does a freestyle exhibition and an awards dinner at the marina following the event.
Bond & Beyond at WSO

007 comes alive in a symphonic tribute to James Bond with music from five decades of Bond films and other popular spy classics. Iconic Bond composer John Barry rules, of course. But there will also be memorable music by Quincy Jones, Stephen Sondheim, Henry Mancini and others. The program features music from Skyfall, Casino Royale, Goldfinger, From Russia with Love, Diamonds Are Forever, and much more.

Celebrate St. Laurent's historical and cultural traditions at The Manipogo Festival! Named after Lake Manitoba’s famous serpentine monster, this event includes theatre, music and dance performances, storytelling, films, and exhibits and presentations of historical fishing techniques.
