Jul 5 to 9 | Shaw Park Spend an evening or afternoon at a Goldeyes game! This weekend, the Fish host the St. Paul Saints on Friday and the Gary SouthShore RailCats from Saturday to Tuesday.  Stroll around the ballpark, eat some goodies, laugh with the crowd, and enjoy the overall atmosphere. Jul 5 | Lyric Theatre, Assiniboine Park Grab your lawn chairs, tousle your mullets and get ready to rock out to a FREE concert by Canadian rockers Streetheart! They will hit the Lyric stage at 8:30 p.m. to perform hits like What Kind of Love is This, Tin Soldier and One More Time.

Lower Fort Garry

Open daily | Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site of Canada Step back in time to the 19th century fur trade at the oldest stone fur trading post still intact in North America at Lower Fort Garry. Costumed interpreters will take you back to the mid-1800s as they re-enact events of the early days of this Hudson’s Bay Company post.

In Riel's Footsteps at Theatre in the Cemetery

Jul 5 to 6 | Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum Go on a guided tour with attitude! In Riel's Footsteps is a theatrical experience that makes learning about French-Canadian and Métis heritage fun and exciting. Shows on Fridays (English at 1:00 p.m., French at 4:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (English at 11:00 a.m., French at 1:00 p.m.).
